Directors Ciaran Taylor and Ed Muhsin met with Frank Bowker, Trustee of Leigh Caring Kitchen, Jo Platt, MP for Leigh and Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester at the Marshall House Open Day on the 10th November, 2018.
The well-known local building, previously the town's Citizen Advice Bureau, has been creatively converted into a multi-use centre offering support to the local community. Marshall House has been handed over to local charity, Leigh Caring Kitchen, and is now up and running as a thriving local hub.
The building houses a cafe, a food market and a charity shop on the ground floor. The first floor contains four bedsits offering emergency temporary accommodation, the charity’s three offices, and training rooms where residents are offered support with key life skills. The second floor provides additional offices for charity use.
C&E Property Development are working with Leigh Council to provide additional accommodation and resources for vulnerable members of the community in Greater Manchester.
